We set up a scalable fulfillment system that allowed our client to scale without sacrificing service levels. We invested in automation equipment to boost capacity, cut down on labor, and save on costs. On top of that, we redesigned the warehouse with special "bulk" shipping stations, making it easier and quicker to process the same orders while cutting down on mistakes.
To help our client stand out from their competitors in a risk-free way, we leveraged our print-on-demand arm of the business. As part of a subscription retention strategy, the client wanted to send free gifts to subscribers who reached certain milestones. Rather than taking on the inventory risk of ordering large quantities of gifts upfront, they decided to test a few different offers. We printed and fulfilled all the gifts on demand, allowing them to experiment with different options without any upfront investment.
In the subscription business, it's common for customers to cancel their subscription when they get notified that their next shipment is on the way. Initially, we were fulfilling subscription orders the same day, which meant that by the time customers reached out to cancel, their order had already been shipped. This caused problems, as the client had to absorb the cost of return labels once the product arrived back.
To address this, we set up a rule in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) that holds all subscription orders for one day before fulfillment. This gives customers enough time to reach out and cancel before anything gets shipped out. As a result, we reduced the number of return shipments and eliminated unnecessary costs.

We partnered with Passport to roll out an International DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) program that simplifies the process of handling international orders. Here's how it works: our client sets up an account with Passport, and we integrate Passport's international rates directly into our Warehouse Management System (WMS). When a customer checks out, all shipping costs, including duties and taxes, are calculated and passed onto the customer. The result? Our client can sell internationally without worrying about handling the fees or filing taxes with other countries. All of that is managed by Passport. Plus, the end customer doesn't have to worry about paying duties when their package arrives because everything is already covered at checkout. This makes selling internationally seamless for both our client and their customers.
